Put up a big game fishing section so those of us (me and Ron I'm guessing) can regale you all with our numerous stories of catching Marlin and Sailfish. And no we don't want to put them in the sea fishing forum these stories of epic battles against Great White Sharks need a forum of their own.

I have done the odd bit of what is called "Big Game" fishing in my life and personally I don't recommend it.

You need oodles of cash, strong arms and a heck of a lot of luck. If you catch a marlin or sailfish in most waters of the world, odds on a blinkin shark will grab it.

I'd much rather catch a nice 1 lb roach from the Trent thank you.

Quite agree about the cash old chap , but not a problem for me - I'm loaded.

But what about a few of your stories from SA Ron about big game fishing - the lads on here would love to hear them.
