reel offer angling times

Hi has anyone seen the offer for the silver striker match reels in the angling times this week ?10.00 for 2,
Does anybody know the speck the reels are, are they any good. if you could let me know as I was thinking of buying them for my son.

for general float fishing and light feeder work they should be ok.but these are the bargin basement budget reels,so i wouldn't expect them to be upto too much heavy work they should make a good first reel ,use all the spools with the first reel and keep the second for spares,most reels are fairly strong these days the weakest point is handle joints where they fold and i carn't see a young lad breaking one,but at least you'd have a spare if it ever did happen.
