If ever there was a warning about introducing 'alien' species... Sad to say they can't do much now unless they gan develop a very selective chemical that only affects these species. Even a major culling will only delay the inevitable. Maybe they can use professional netsmen and turn the carp into manure/pellet food. Nevertheless, this is a story that needs more publicity.

I fear it is only a matter of time, till we(here in the UK) have the same problem Terry. There was an application (last year I think) to stock these Asian carp, somewhere in the London area, it got turned down, but will it stop somebody taking the law into their own hands? I hope so, but I fear not

Luckily Ian, the EA are quite on the ball when it comes to introducing alien species.
