Got one venue in mind....fairly shallow, even depth all round, not too big, nice reedy corner at one end thats never fished, quite a few anglers still fish it in the winter so the baits going in all the time. Most important of all, its absolutly stuffed with Carp.

I'll be plugging away at a local venue that's got a couple of lumps in it (should be 48lb+ in the winter)
Quite hard but reasonably quiet, that's what I like about the winter....
I'll keep the bait trickling in and keep doing the time, find the fish and do it with confidence.
A big forty with ice on the ground....lovely
