Wildlife experts are urging people to record the types of fish found in rivers, streams and ponds across Leicestershire.
The county council's community heritage initiative is running a survey across Leicestershire and Rutland to find out how healthy the area's fish population is. Experts believe there are about 30 types of fish in the area.
