Good article Eddie.

I can sympathise a bit with your back etc etc. I was told a few years ago that my back and knees are about ten years older than the rest of me! Too much football and cricket back in the 70's and 80's apparently!

Interesting piece about the plum stone. I've watched Trout (and Carp) investigate leaves and all sorts of floating "debris" but cast a fly/lure or floater to them and they're not so interested. They know you know!

Graham's "Pink One" sounds a bit good! We used to tie all sorts of creations using pink marabou (and many other colours as well).

I think everyone who has had the chance to try one of Grahams 'Lily the Pinks' has caught on it .....

Eddie's quote: "I looked in my fly box and spied one of Graham Marsden's celebrated pink creations. On it went and, you guessed it, it attracted and hooked two rainbows in successive casts."

See, I told you so. HE had touched it. HE has the gift in his hands.

Get your tackle blessed by Graham! Form an orderly queue now.

Shame about the back. We're slaves to them aren't we?
