Croatia..anyone fished out there ?

I am off to Croatia soon and as usual when I make these sort of trips I like to pack a rod or two althought its going to be a mimium tackle situation. I was thinking in terms of a light lure rod and maybe an avon type rod with a few floats and leads.

Any info gratefully recieved on fishing out that way if anyone knows. Split and Dubrovnic are the destinations. I"ll have a car so I can scoot about a bit.

i was watching a vid on you tube this week of "savage gear" consultant Daniel Vignjevic catching Barbel from a croatian river on small "minnowbait" crankbaits.

Maybe worth having a search for this blokes stuff on you tube, also i know that savage gear have a big pressence on "face book" where they actively answer any questions and querys.

The Barbel are supposed to go quite big out that way I hear. I dont have allot of time there but who knows !...Fishing..you gotta love it
