Hello, I'm new here and after some advice on day ticket venues on the wye. I haven't fished the wye previously and am after the barbel, preferably on the lower wye. Any advice is appreciated. Cheers

Hi Peter, Try The Wye Lea day ticket Fishery at Bridstow, loads of Barbel there, to book a great days fishing, when you arrive you will be greeted by a grey haired old man in a dressing gown, or try the Ross Angling club stretch at Willton.

If the venue you are mentioning is the wyebank and courtfield fishery , the answer is yes , this now only available via the wye and usk foundation and no tickets are issued on the bank.
I will be on this stretch next saturday .
