Chatsworth Angling Fair is no more

I?ve just read in Fly Fishing and Fly Tying magazine (Dec. issue)that the Chatsworth Angling Fair is no more. Although I?ve tried to regularly attend, it doesn?t surprise me; it seemed to be in a state of slow decline and several wet weather events appear to have put paid to the viability of the thing. The plan appears to be to integrate a Fisherman's Row' into their September Country Fair.

But a light has gone out in our fly fishing firmament. RIP, Chatsworth, and thanks for the good times.

I agree Dave. I loved that show, even though it meant splodging around in the mud on the last one.

No more Welsh Oggies. No more taking the pi$$ out of Ed. No more seeing MacWallet buy his latest Sage fly rod. And no more dressing up in my bespoke Reid & Taylor sports jacket, breeks and tattershall shirt, looking frightfully superior what?
