Our first year as an independent group was a huge success with over 15 matches organised & fished throughout the UK.

Unfortunately, due to funding restraints everyone who takes part in this years events will have to pay their own peg fees, however there will again be a free buffet on the Semi Finals, Final & the Teams of 5 event.

The UKDMFC were asked to organized a ?Skinzs? only event at Woodlandview in October 2006, granted a bit late in the year as many disabled anglers had already put their tackle away. But the response was outstanding, 76 disabled anglers took part, well done to you all.

For 2007 the UKDMFC have booked a total of 15 matches so far.

The Disabled Masters will have 3 qualifiers in the South, 4 qualifiers in the North and 2 semi finals. The Grand Final will once again be held at the midlands prestige fishery of Woodlandview.

As an added bonus we have been able to book a few matches on a Saturday as some anglers who work could not participate last year, this gives even more anglers a chance to take part.

There will be no Triple Method event this year as there were some complaints that the event was to long at 6 hours and so this year there will be the UKDMFC Rod & Reel Championship to replace it.

As the title suggest no pole just rod & reel. The angler can use Feeder or Waggler how they want to, it?s entirely up to you within the fishery rules. It will be over 5 hours duration. There will be Southern & Northern qualifiers with the final once again at Woodlandview.

There is to be an extra match this year, the UKDMFC North & South Challenge, and to make it interesting a secret pairs will be integrated in to the match so you won?t know who your partner will be until after the all out, this match is once again at the central venue of Woodlandview.

The UKDMFC teams of 5 will be at Woodlandview.

Last year many anglers left it to the last minute to return their entry forms and were disappointed that their chosen qualifier was fully booked. This year some qualifying matches will accommodate up to 40 anglers where possible.

So to avoid disappointment send of your match Entry Form As soon as possible.

And return to the UKDMFC Headquarters. As always match places are on a first come first serve bases.
