Hi guys,
I am looking for suggestions for which braid would be best for use on a fixed spool reel for rolling meat/free lining for barbel.
I have been using power pro for years on my baitcasting multipliers but it does not seem to work well on a fixed spool IMO, any ideas chaps?

thanks

i was about to recommend PP.........i use it in 65 and 20lb BS on fixed spool reels with no probs at all...............other than i would not use it where it can be "cut" under tension......but that go's for any braid.

PowerPro for me. I've had no problems whatsoever with it on a fixed spool reels. I will concede that the reels I've used it on are Ultegra XTBs with reasonably big spools. Perhaps it wouldn't be much good on reels with smaller spools, I've yet to try it.

II use Berkley Whiplash on fixed spool reels and have to say it behaves impeccably.
