We chartered a book from the Montego Bay area, I think it left from a few miles away, maybe Ocho Rios.
It cost us bloody hundreds, maybe ?300 between 4 of us. Whilst the boat was decent, they never had a fishfinder. The captain and his cronies put out the rods, didn't speak to us all day, got blitzed on huge spliffs and trolled around blindly.
We never saw a fish all day.
It felt like a tourist ripoff, to be honest. I know game fising is hit and miss but a little interactivity would do no harm.
