Front Drag Reel

Think Im having bit of a blonde moment but pretty sure it isnt right.

Recently purchased a Shakespear Mach3 FR3500 from BOSFISH. Very nice reel and very good deal.

When I tighten the drag to max capacity the spool is still spinning as if in 'free spool' this aint right is it?

First of all, in your 'blonde moment' are you sure you are tightening it and not loosening it?

Secondly, if you doing it correctly then its back to the shop with it for a replacement.

Yeah im definetly tightening it.

Thought something was wrong. Oh well, replacement it is then. Was really hoping to christen it this weekend aswell. Cheers
