Hi all,
I am quite new to this fishing lark, I used to do a small amount years ago but nothing major, as I am partially disabled I spend a lot of time sitting around so, having discovered Matt Hayes on the Quest channel and enjoyed watching the fishing and tactics I decided that it would be a good idea to ‘sit around’ by the waterside.
Here in Lincolnshire I am surrounded by ‘commercials’, drains etc so am lucky that going fishing doesn’t cost a fortune, especially in travel.
I have only recently set up with tackle (mostly second hand & gifts…cost issue) and have been out 3 times, to different venues all within 5 mins drive of where I live, and have caught fish each time so I am made up .
I am, of course, still learning but enjoying that part of it to.
I would like to get into pike fishing at some point and am interested in making lures, spinners and floats, probably during the winter months as I don’t do cold.
Well that’s sorta me in a nutshell, looking forward to being here on the site.
