Although there is sport still to be had, in my experience from a quality point of view the sport has deteriorated over the last seven or eight years. Back then multiple catches of double figure pike, with the occasional big 'un were a realistic target. Sadly nowadays such red letter days seem to be a thing of the past. But as I said, sport is still there but with fish of a much smaller average, regardless of what method is used.
