Briefly checking in,nice diary report Steve.

It was great to be out with you, and after all this time actually fishing together.

Just a reminder though there was one barbel in my net on the first day!

Steve was literally at my side all day on the second day, at times even baiting the hair, a highly recommended angling experience

Like you Steve I like to think as myself as an ordinary chap who just likes to relax by hearing the pin scream and the rod bending into any Barbel..... I have been lucky enough to chat to some of the guys that you have helped to catch great fish and enjoy fantastic experiences on the Kennet. The feeling of joy when they realise that a new pb lies in the net is something to behold. Certainly as joyful for me and I am merely a bystander!! Even more so when it is their very first Barbel ...... it puts into perspective everything.
