One of the North's best value trout fisheries - Thrybergh Reservoir, only 3 miles from my home, opens 25th of March this year.
This 40 acre water grows on fish to 8 lbs and is available to visiting anglers for about ?14 a day for a 4 fish limit plus catch and release.
This water, which is highly alkaline, has some superb hatches of buzzers when the weather warms up a bit.
I look forward to seeing a few of you in during the next two months. I shall be taking a season ticket of course.
