Hey all I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some fishing spots around the west London area. Not looking for anything amazing just something different to my usual stretch of the grand union. Day ticket areas or free fishing anything a go. I'm guessing the day ticket places probably have a better supply of fish.

Thanks ian.

Yes I have transport and at the moment I'm after some perch but the odd pike would be very nice.

Ian, there is a free (under an ancient charter) stretch of the Colne near you at Uxbridge from Iver Lane to St Johns Road, approx. 1 1/4 mile, that holds all the usual river fish. For day ticket try the lizard lakes at West Drayton, like many commercials they hold some very big perch that are not targeted by many and are not over frequented at this time of year.

Thank you very much. I shall give them a go as soon as I get the time.
