The amount of good work guys like this do compared with plonkers like Alex Ferguson, Sade, and a hundered other 'stars and politicians' I could mention doesn't bear any comparison.

Why is it only the high profile celebs who recive such awards get press coverage/interviews about why they got a mention.
Its about time people like fred were given a platform to promote their achivemnts in a highly publicised way,the same as those who get awards for not doing much do.
Im sure there are celeb anglers,known to the public who could suport the actions of Fred and other anglers who put in many hours of their time and own expense.
