Hi Jeff, thanks for that I for one had no idea or even heard of "Weils" sounds nasty. Prevention is always better than cure I have always been told.Do we know wether It can(the gel)be detected by fish(carp especially?).Many thanks.

I doubt that Asda thought when producing this stuff about whether or not carp could smell it, probably wouldn't have been high on their priority list.

However, use the blue version as it is the less smelly of the two and you'll probably be ok.

On the other hand (pun) you could always dip or soak a boily or two in the stuff first to see if it works as an attractor. You never know.

I even used some the other day whilst filming when my contact lens was playing up. You're always supposed to wash your hands before touching your eyes and I had no water or soap available.

My hands were clean of dirt so I just washed them with the gel and ..... germ free!

Removed the lens, re-seated it and it was fine for the rest of the day.
