Good news, although the former planning comittee reporter in me wonders if it will make any difference to the councillors who make up such committees.
If planning permission is granted I hope the Anglers Trust will not give in but will force a public enquiry.

The Ribble is the only decent coarse fishing river in the North West, I am often amazed how far anglers I meet on the bank have travelled.

As with almost all of these cases, its usually profit before principle and doing what is right and proper.
