Hi, I haven't posted here much, but thought this would be of interest to many anglers and angling clubs.
I'm sure most of you know that the Canoeing Lobby is currently pressing to get free access to all waterways in England and Wales. They have a petition lobbying their position on the Governments website.
In response someone has started a counter petition asking to Deny canoeists and users of un-powered craft the right to roam on English and Welsh rivers.

I don't know how much notice the government will take of these petitions, but it can't hurt to get as many people as possible to sign. Please take the time to sign and pass this link onto as many Anglers and other Angling forums as possible.
