carping in france

can anyopne tell me the best time to go fishing in the north of france ?
also any recomendations as where to go , the emphasis being on quantity rather than quality as im not very experienced at carping.

You can reckon on it being about the same as over here. The temperature isn't that much different, so May/June and September/October should be a good choice. But apart from extremes of both heat and cold you've got a chance just about any time, especially since you're not after lumps.

Try the anglinglines.co.uk brochure. Every one seems to be going to one of there lakes this year
