I posed this question in another thread. Anyone got any strong views one way or the other? Presently, I use DT!

WF, no contest.

You know when the head length is out to properly load the rod.

Running line is thinner so the line will cast further.

You can get different tapers/head lengths to suit different casting styles/fishing scenarios.

For this type of fishing I can't see how a DT line would compare.........but I'm ready to be convinced otherwise.

Thanks Adrian. This does seem to be a question that not many want to address.

I use DT, because I use DT for all my flyfishing and it was a logical thing for me to buy when I started Salmon fishing years ago. There was no aesthetic reason for it and since I do very little Salmon fishing, co's I have to work and live in South East England, I thought that now that my Salmon lines are perhaps coming to the end of their useful life and that I may soon think about changing them, I might as well ask what others think.
