On tonight on BBC2, 9.50pm. Anyone see it?

It looks a beautiful river, so much variety in a beautiful setting. Some nice underwater footage of chub and barbel in particular too, in fact I've never seen so many barbel in one place as those spawning on the shallows.

Made a nice antedote to the cut and thrust of the previous 90 minutes Champs League footy on the other side.

Cant see why the BBC show anything to do with fishing thought they were against it.
But brilliant all the same.

Watched it a few weeks ago but I could watch it every night, a beautiful, scenic river and I have booked a holiday in August on the strength of it in a village near to Hawes which is the area that was filmed.

Not overly populated round that area either so we shouldn't be too bothered with those pesky Yorkshire men.
