Advice on rod exchange please

Hi all, i have just got a great deal on a virtually brand new century tip tornado rod, now a pro fisherman friend of mine wants to do a deal to exchange it for a cenury compressor vectra, but i know nothing of this rod, he says its a better all round rod than the tornado and would suit the fishing i do. any advice please

go to your local tackle dealer and ask for there advice,or wait and see what else is said

The Tip Tornadoe is a very good fishing rod. I own the Ultra lite, Lite and Super match. The compressor i would say is a more meaty tool for longer cast. They will all pendulum cast.

It would be helpful if you could tel us a bit more about the style of fishing you do and which tip tornado the deal is for.

i'd stick with the tip tornado unless you can cast the kompressor properly

Bryan.....didn't know you were into the sea scene.

A few of us keep threatening to have a get together on the coast...........personally it's an area i'm seriously lacking in but fancy a day sometime.

Would make a cracking fishin?

thx 4 advice all have decided to keep tyhe tornado i do mostly river fishing
