fishing jersey

has anyone done any beach fishing off jersey im going in june or july and would like a bit of advice i will be staying in st helier i understand the bass fishing is very good

Hi Steve fish St Aubins bay that time of year its full of bass, mullet ,i fly fish for them its not easy,loads of them swimming past about 10 yds out you can wade 100yds out when the tides coming in ,just move back towards the shore with the tide great fun on a hot afternoon ,might see you there going on the 30june I think. spinning with small spinners will get you lots of bass.

many thanks for that spider last time i was in jersey was 76 and i only used to dive for crabs and lobsters off Corbiere but will definately try St Aubins thanks for the advice still dont know the exact dates but maybe ill see you there
