Anyone out there fished mote park lake, maidstone lately?

Not for 30 years! Went back to home town earlier this year, the area around Mote Park has hardly changed. Assuming the lake has changed little....bigger bream came out from legering the Len river channel in the middle - normally from the road/boathouse side. Used to get a lot of skimmers from legering out from the pitch and putt course - beware of golf balls!
As for the river at Teston -used to get a lot of chub from trotting down from the middle arch of the bridge. Whether barbel have located there now?
