Another good match today although we did have a runaway leader. The other weights were fairly close and everyone had a few fish. Lowest weight was 16lb odd. 18 people fished although 2 didn?t weigh they did catch a few. Fish were spread all over the lake as can be seen from the below.

Alex Reynolds the winner, started on the feeder with maggot then switched to a long pole down the bank to his left where he fished pellet for the majority of his carp. Although he was still catching on his margin swim, something made him switch back to feeder for the half hour of the match and he had five fish in five casts including 2 carp that together were estimated to weigh about 11lb. In the Match Lake 2 the average size of the carp are 2 1/2lb so those 2 were real bonus fish. He had 3 tench in his catch as well as the carp
