But you should have told him to stick it on a hook and try for that shark rolling behind him, just over his right shoulder!

Actually he fed it to a great big fat seal that emerged in a rock pool to his left hand side. No bull, the tide was rising and we didn't realise that a well known seal regulary moves in for his daily feed of mack!

The locals love him.

I don't know if I should tell you Yam Yam, Graham would string me up!

And the next best thing is to clean that mackerel and fry it.

With a bit of bread and butter, he will never taste anything finer.

I agree with Ron. Hope you ate it almost straight away. Mackerel get a bad press from some foodies, but only because they've never tasted a REALLY fresh one. Just gorgeous.
