Can anyone tell me how far up the river can you fish for sea fish when it is the river closed season.

At a guess i would say the first wier,good question,why not ask your local environment agency (if you can get anyone to answer).

If its the first wier, then the tidal Trent would not have a closed season.....
Maybe its a point at which the river has little or no saline content, I must check.

Yet another clever alec who doesn't read posts properly,Weazle asked how far up you can fish for SEA species,i said that was my best guess ask the EA,(there will still be issues regarding rights of access which could soon change with the new Rights to Roam ).i have a vague idea the Thames lads fish up to kingston wier for "Flounders" but this could be entirely wrong...if Weasel or Phil should find out anything let everyone know.
