as anyone fished it in winter as am going to give it a try in a 10g micro feeder.

Yes, I've used it a lot in winter, but never in a feeder though.

Used to bind maggots for loose feed it is an excellent product, but one that many people mess-up when applying.

Simply wet your hand and rub that over a small tray of maggot, over-wetting is the kiss of death to sticky mag.

When the maggots in the tray are 'moist' not soaked, then shake on a SMALL amount of sticky mag and use the dry hand to combine.

You can also use Horlicks. Its much cheaper and works just as well.

Old Stoney pointed that out to me and it worked well when I was fishing Oxfordshire gravel pits for big chub.

Yes, Horlicks is an alternative, however, StickyMag is odourless whereas Horlicks has a distinct malty aroma.

Personally I prefer the StickyMag, been using it for many years.

Each to their own though.

There is a video on YouTube where Horlicks is used and the results look really good.
