Catch a barbel and a pike, never caught either of those before. I`d like to catch a decent sized perch too.

Up my Chub game by reading books and articles and learning some river craft.
Hopefully the result will be a better understanding of the little blighters and less non target species
Start targetting some river perch.
Do some research on predator/pike fishing, find somebody to shadow and then get me backside out pike fishing next November ish

A 4lb perch from the Dorset Stour I have come very close in recent seasons and hopefully those fish have crossed that magic mark this year, also like to catch a 2lb+roach from the mid reaches of the river to show myself that fish of that quality still reside there.
