staffordshire help

hi there im quite new to the carp scene and am wondering if there is any kind chaps who go fishing in staffs who would not mind either meeting at a pool or giving me few tips,i have been fishin for bout 2 years now and had a few decent doubles but always on float,i always try ledgered boilies,meat,nuts everything but to no avail,i must be doing something wrong,i reguarly fish at baden hall,heronbrook,cudmore and other like pools alike..i fish night or day and am set up with decentish equip(i think) and am equiped with bivvy
