Got to tell someone, but after six blanks on a midlands syndicate I've finally caught.
Did a 2 hour session this evening and had two fish. The first an 11lb 10oz Mirror after just twenty minutes and the second an hour later a cracking common of 23lb 13oz.
Both the fish fell to a squid pop-up on the same rod just ten feet out.
Isn't it weird how you can put hours and hours in blanking and then just get "one of those days" when it all comes together.
Lets hope the next 6 sessions aren't blanks too.......
