pike fishing.

i fish mostly on my local lake and its full of pike. i spend alot of time deadbaiting and i do all the correct fishing methods i think but i never seem to catch can some one help me?

Hi Jack , ( excuse the pun ) ,firstly your in the wrong section ,this is the carp page ,you should be in the pike page .

If you are useing deadbaits/lives at this time of year ,you are fishing out of season .
The pike season being : 1st October to 31 March .

A couple of questions Jack , how much pike fishing have you done and how old are you ?

well my story was really the full one i was having a spot of bad luck a few weeks back with deadbaiting and was just asking for some tips really. i fish pike with lures now which i prefere really and that has been quite a sucess. i dont really know how to use the forum bit i avnt been a member long that is why im in the rong page.
