Just heard that a tragic event has happened at Savay involing Pete Broxup.

Died last night. Been told he landed a Carp and had heart attack shortly after, around 11pm.

RIP Pete.

Carp was a 45lb Common. News now is he had two fish on at once, the Common in the net and heart attack whilst playing another.

Just read on another site he had 45lber in net & was playing a second fish when he had heart attack.

Don't know and never met the chap, but what a way to go !!!!!

All my heart attack ever got me was pills....

But on a serious note, condolences to any and all bereaved.

Never heard of the chap - but it sounds like he when out the way he would have liked.
