fishing in egypt

this may be a long shot but has anyone fished in egypt , we are of on our hols there in september and my thoughts are to take a telescopic rod and a few bits , we are in sharm el sheik area anyone any help thanks

I presume you are flying into Luxor, the Aswan Dam, Nile perch and Vundoo cats

You cannot legally fish from the coast anywhere around Sharm El Sheik. Believe me, if you could, you would get your string pulled alright. It is absolutely teeming with life.
My advice would be to get a snorkel or learn to scuba dive. It is stunning.
