Not being negative - we all love matchmen here even if we don;t show it - but where are the specialist angling DVDs? Does anyone know of any really good ones?

Barbel. The enigmatic prince of the river, featuring Matt Hayes.

And, Chub Fishing with Graham Marsden. What year was it filmed Graham?

Both were very enjoyable to watch and I picked up a few tips too.

A long, long time ago Steve. Can't remember exactly, but over 20 years ago I think.

I got 'Matt Hayes, enigmatic prince of the river, featuring barbel'....

If you watch the sequence when Graham opens his wallet to get a hook, Steve, you can freeze frame and see that he has ?300 in ?50s in it.

At a fish-in recently, the same wallet was glimpsed with ?280, so 20 years ago is about right.

;o)

I have seen a few clips from these DVDs and though I'm no matchman (as all at this year's Clattercote will tell you), they really do look the biz. Informative, entertaining and top-notch production values.

Well done Steve, it's about time the angling vid was dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century!
