Really? No cases last year of SVC. Cant believe those figures, but then they are "notifiable" cases, I wonder how many weren't....

I agree frothey....better to inform the relevant authorites and get it dealt with properly by folk in the know.
I cant understand fishery owners who know that something serious is wrong with fish in their water(s) but just try to cover things up and keep schtum!!!
Does anyone know of a fishery owner getting prosecuted for trying to cover things up,risking the spread of desease etc... I`d be intrested to know what fines/sentancing could be handed out to such people???

Does that mean that anyone who has fished at these fisheries has to get their tackle sterilised ?(fishing tackle that is)
