Loved it this week! There were some excellent articles.
I liked the fella who wrote the cleverly nuanced review of the Shimano rod, telling us it wasn't all that while at the same time not upsetting the advertisers.
I also enjoyed the session with stick float article.
I wish every week was a river week in the Angling Times or that there was a mag or paper dedicated just to river fishing.
I'd buy it.

Oh yes and the fella with the massive 2ft long wagglers was good too.
Very innovative idea for fishing deep swims as an alternative to a sliding float - especially where it's only just a bit deeper than the length of your rod. Of course the depth is from the bottom of your float rather than the tip. Very clever.
They must make a fair spash going in though I would have thought. It's like throwing the top section of your rod in!
