Was it cold when you caught that fish Burnzie by the look of your feet it was! Wanna be careful mate, get yerself some decent footwear, very important feet are, especially when you get to your age!! Nice Carp though mate, well done,tell us more, like where and how you caught it!

Well Roy, it was caught at rookley country park on the isle of wight, last month. weighing in at 36lb 12oz but the sling was 1lb 12oz.
the bait used was carp company icelandic red freezer bolies, fished in the margin. it was ?32 + ?5 booking fee to fish for 48 hours

What size do they ggo up to at rookley? Do you know what the average size is aswell?

great fish m8 but next time m8 try and have the fish abit nearer the the mat for the pics its a long way down but stil a great fish well done.

ha ha ha very good average size wellies 10 or 11.
but rookley's biggest is just over 40lb at the moment a hard lake with about 130 fish ranging 20lb upwards and just a few handfuls bellow that.
