someone told me badger had just designed a new bait boat.
i would like to know if it is true and is it any good?

AVOID BADGER STUFF ITS CRAP. my chair fell apart last week , and before christmas my holdall strap broke . it only had three made up rods in it . and banksticks , brolly. its supposed to take six rods !

I have to say i have found the opposite...all Badger items i have used have been fine...but i think some items in there range are good..some bad..
Items i own which i have found good: One piece thermal oversuit, thermal undersuit, rods, trebles, stalker bags, excel chair..
fingers crossed i seem to have been lucky so far...

Moneys a bit tight for my eldest son with a baby on the way etc and without badger he reckons would not be able to afford to fish.
he finds quality etc very good.
Me im a tackle tart.

It's like most things, if you are selective in what you buy then there are some great bargains to be had in most of the ranges of tackle we have on offer to us......if it was the difference between Badger and going fishing and tarting it and not, then it would be Badger.........my escort van aint no Shogun either but it gets me there and gives me a bed!

You do have to take into account the person using the stuff as well. I had an identical match rod to someone who usually fishes near me on the local pond. I have had mine for over a year now with no problems, he had had his exchanged twice because of a broken top section but then I don't use mine as a strimmer for snapping off inconvenient reeds...

Ok maybe that example is a little extreme but I've had no problems with my Badger stuff although I do find it a little less robust than some big-name items (but not all by any means).
