I`ve heard suggesutions that the phases of the moon affect the feeding patterns of fish? This might be tru at sea or in tidal waters but is there any truth in this rumour in lakes? I am going Saturday night which will be close to a full moon. I have taken much notice in the past to be honest. Any ideas??

theres alot on here that believe moon phases affect their fishing

I've kept a record ,just out of interest,no obvious pattern.
Many will say that a full moon, on a clear night will affect your fishing,much the same, I suppose, as bright sunlit days.

Full moon, easterly wind, dropping barometer, saying "rabbit", whistling, turning over a piece of timber, walking in front of an old woman with a squint - curse of death on a days fishing.
