does anyone know of any good carp water within 100 miles of swindon, mainly night fishing venues, have recently got the bug again and want to put in some serious bank time, any suggestions will be most appreciated,

You've got lots of waters within that range. Cotswold water park holding several lakes, run by organisations such as Watermark, South Cerney Angling Club, Wildmoor fishery, Whelford Pools, and of course the famous Horseshoe lake run by the Carp Society. Near Oxford you've got Orchid lakes (home of the 30's), down near Reading/Newbury you've got a few lakes run by CEMEX Angling. You could also pop into Hinders of Swindon (Manor Garden Centre, Cheney Manor), Shaun and/or Bryan will give you some locations.

What a suprising question, you've got an absolute wealth of quality, mature gravel pits surrounding South Cerney and Swindon, if you live there you must pass at least a dozen if you travel down the A419.
