Who was this fisherman

Hi guys

I am trying to identify TV Angler from a few years ago. I remember watching his videos in the late 90's but cannot for the life of me remember his name.

The one video series that springs to mind starts with him fishing for perch down the side of a sunken concrete steps at the edge of a resovior and finishes with him fishing for bream on a river in France, with every other species covered in between.

Does that ring any bells.

Seem to remember him . was it Paul Meradith or something like that.Talked with a Hampshire or west country burr .
