Nice fish, but it looks to me like your standing up? if that fish flipped you would have dropped it and from that height it would die.

In reply to your above comment, Yes I was Standing up, the fish was held correctly and firmly, there was no way the fish was going to be able to 'flip'.

I have been fishing for many years and have never dropped a fish, I always hold it firmly and close to my body.

A great looking fish clamsman. Well done

But Michael's right not the way to hold a big fish.

never say never. Why go to the effort of picking it up higher when you can safely hold it lower down with less effort?
