You're right Jeff, we in the East are facing a very dry summer.
This unique environment should not be allowed to just dry up.
This along with the lamb virus is worrying.

On a brighter note Jeff, Mick's got the go a head for a borehole at SP that should be operational in a few weeks time.

So now is the time to stop the washing of vehicles using hosepipes, stop the use of sprinklers to irrigate gardens, reduce Council Tax on houses that have waterbutts, stop the use of treated water to flush toilets.

We must also build more dams and stop taking water from aquifers and other ground water sources. We must also stop the channeling of precious freshwater to the sea whenever there is a flood. We must also remove buildings from flood plains, allowing the precious water to soak into the ground.

It's not that difficult to sort this problem is it?
