DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO CATCH BIG COD ON ANGLESEY WHAT BAIT ANGD GEAR TO USE ASWELL PLEASE BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CATCH ONE FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND MY BIGGEST IS ABOUT 1/2 LB/forum/smilies/embarassed_smiley.gif

what bait and techniques have you been using?

We used to catch pollock on perks off the breakwater at Holyhead. Didn't know there was much cod on the welsh coast. No-one I knew ever caught one.

Your best chance of a decent codling would be the mersey from the end of october till about january. Anywhere on the liverpool side from seaforth rocks up to otterspool.
