feeder rods and pod rods

can any one explain what a feeder rod is can it also be used for fishing or is it soly for feeding and on your rod licence is this clasified as a rod becouse i use two rods one for float the other for carp so do i need another rod licence to use it

A feeder rod is used for fishing, casting swim feeders or legers which are too heavy for a normal float rod. Read some of the instructional articles on this site and all will be revealed.

I think the question Glenn is asking is whether or not you need an additional rod licence if you are using two rods and a spod rod.

If thats the case then no you dont need an additional licence if you using two rods for fishing and a Spod rod to put bait into the water.
